| Our mission is to effectively expose students to the automotive industry, clearly outlining minimum skill requirements for opportunities for employment in the industry. We will offer a well defined curriculum and certification process which demonstrates completion of minimum skill requirements. We will work to ensure an ongoing dialogue between the schools and industry to update and enhance curriculum and certification processes. We will identify, promote and implement industry specific work experiences for students. |
Focus
| The key to solving the problem of the lack of educated entry level technicians will be the direct inter-action of business owners and automotive instructors through continuous periodic meetings such as the Automotive Workforce Development Team, and the direct involvement of business representatives in school activities. Any other personnel or activities will be in support of this relationship. |
